Testimony from our previous intern

"Combining my love for the ocean – I am an enthusiastic surfer – with my internship on Global Project and Change management was a unique opportunity. My project focused on establishing and improving the emotional connection between the ocean and the secondary school students in Matemwe, for the Environmental Education Program. I really enjoyed working with the local community and making a lasting impact on their connection with ocean life. And I am very proud of the structured program we developed here.

An internship at The Living Ocean and Under the Wave is an adventure, in which you learn a lot. You can work in a small team, experiencing all the aspects of working at a NGO. Under the Wave facilitated my documentation, housing etc. In this way I could focus on my work, my personal and professional growth and enjoy the experience. I would gladly recommend it to anyone: just take this great opportunity!’’
